| The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation and Department 56 partnered for a series of porcelain buildings and accessories that was announced in 2010 at a special Announcement Gathering. Collectors from all over gathered in Williamsburg for the unveiling of this patriotic series based on actual historical buildings found there. At the event, a special repainted “Event Only” version of “Caroling In Williamsburg” was released. A few of the attributes that make it easily identifiable is that the man wears yellow pants, and the girl has brown hair. The collection is shown as retired in 2016; however, in this particular case, it represents the “suspension year.” Department 56 will re-open the series with new introductions at the request of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. | ||||||||||||||
