| The Catalog Home subseries in The Original Snow Village is a small collection inspired by the popular catalog homes sold by Sears from 1908-1940. These 447 ready-to-build, customizable homes are more prominent on the East Coast and in the Midwest; however, several are sprinkled throughout the country. When ordered, they included all of the materials necessary for completion and were delivered by railcar. | ||||||||||||||
| The two offerings, released by Department 56, used the exact mold with color changes for Platinum Key Dealers. There are two coordinating accessories with no variations. They were General Release items designed to coordinate with either lit building. | ||||||||||||||
